British Wireless for the Blind Fund

The British Wireless for the Blind Fund was founded in 1928 with the aim of “Keeping Blind People in Touch with the World”. The Fund provides a choice of audio equipment specifically designed for ease of use by blind people. The current range includes:

  • pre-set radios

  • stereo radio cassette players

  • stereo radio/cassettes/CD players

  • TV sound receivers

  • Headphones can also be supplied if required.

All items are provided by BWBF on free loan to registered blind and registered partially sighted people over the age of 8 years. As agents, nab administers this service throughout Northamptonshire. (Contact External Services) for further details
