Buy or sell on
eBay to support nab

eBay for Charity is an easy way to support nab while buying and selling on eBay. Buyers can bid on eBay for Charity items knowing that they are heping a worthy cause and sellers can donate a percentage of their eBay sales to Northamptonshire Association for the Blind.

eBay has partnered with MissionFish, a non-profit service provider, to manage the whole process. If you would like more information, click on the above link to visit the MissionFish website and view NAB's eBay for Charity page.

WARNING - Goddard's Silver Dip.
Goddard's Silver Dip bottles - size 265ml - produced between November 2007 and March 2008 may not carry the required tactile warning of danger labels. While the product itself is safe, tactile warning labels are important for people with visual impairment and are a legal requirement.

If you purchased this product between December 2007 and April 2008, call S. C. Johnson Consumer Care Line on 0800 35 33 353 and they will let you have appropriate packaging to return the bottle and to receive a refund voucher.

The treatment of 'wet' Age Related Macular Degeneration

Northamptonshire PCT has announced a change in the provision of treatment for 'wet' ARMD.

There will be locally available treatment which means that people will no longer have to make the journey to Leicester and back. The PCT has also decided to make treatment available for a wider range of patients so, hopefully, this means an end to the qualification for treatment only after losing the sight of one eye.

Northamptonshire PCT will be reviewing the matter again in the summer after the final outcome of the NICE consultation.
